Medical weight loss
Lasting weight management takes more than willpower. At Resolution Sleep and Weight, we combine individualized treatment, practical guidance, and ongoing medical care to support sustainable progress.
We consider your medical history, appetite, sleep, previous treatment experiences, and budget to build a plan that fits your health and your life.
Our program offers a range of prescription treatments rather than a one-medication-fits-all approach. Depending on your goals and medical eligibility, options include:
Your clinician will discuss the expected benefits, risks, alternatives, and costs before prescribing.
Tolerability is part of your treatment plan, not an afterthought. We use gradual dose adjustments, nutrition and hydration guidance, and symptom-management medications when appropriate.
Your program begins with an in-person or telehealth evaluation to review your health, current medications, previous weight-loss efforts, and goals. Together, we discuss treatment options, relevant testing, costs, and follow-up.
We monitor your response and adjust your plan as needed, with attention to nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and your broader health. Our focus is not just weight loss, but a realistic approach to maintaining your progress.

Meet Our Provider
Family Nurse Practitioner
Andrew combines evidence-based sleep apnea care with focused sleep training and first-hand experience navigating sleep apnea himself.
A graduate of Emory University and the University of Pennsylvania, he received advanced training in pathophysiology and pharmacology and is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. His experience at Penn Medicine's Sleep Center included sleep-study review, PAP setup and optimization, and evaluation of surgeries and other CPAP alternatives.
He can order high-quality AASM-1A home sleep studies to evaluate suspected sleep apnea, prescribe CPAP and more advanced PAP therapies, and provide referrals for sleep apnea surgeries and dental appliances. He can also prescribe medications for management of insomnia and sleep disturbances.
His medical weight-loss experience includes contract work with Hims & Hers and use of GLP-1 therapies for general weight management and weight loss as part of sleep apnea care.
He does not treat narcolepsy, periodic limb movement disorders, or manage PAP therapy for hypoventilation syndromes, neuromuscular disorders, or COPD. He also does not prescribe Xanax (alprazolam), Ativan (lorazepam), Ambien (zolpidem), Lunesta (eszopiclone), or other benzodiazepine-like medications for nightly use.

A few plain answers
A little clarity can make the first step easier. For scheduling or insurance questions, get in touch below.
Ask an office questionYes. A visit can focus on your current PAP treatment, including your mask, comfort, settings, and supplies. Andrew can review what has and has not worked and discuss next steps based on your evaluation.
Home testing is appropriate for many adults with suspected obstructive sleep apnea. Certain heart, lung, neurologic, or complex sleep conditions may require in-lab testing or specialist evaluation instead.
Start by talking about the parts that are difficult. Options may include changes to your PAP setup, an oral appliance pathway, weight treatment, or a specialist referral. Advanced PAP modes, medications, and procedures require individualized evaluation and are not appropriate for everyone.
The insurance tracker shows the practice’s reported status for sleep and weight care, including Original Medicare (Part B) as accepted. Use the Medicare Advantage selector to check your plan. Coverage varies; call to confirm before a visit or test. Self-pay is also available.
Visits can be in our Gresham office or by video. Video visits are available in AZ, CO, DC, DE, HI, IA, ID, NH, KS, MT, ND, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, and WY. Your evaluation guides the right setting for your care.
Weight care starts with your health history, goals, and an individualized review of evidence-based options, including medication when appropriate. Follow-up may include medication monitoring and adjustments. Choose “Weight management visit” on the appointment request form.
